About Teknologisk Videndeling

Teknologisk Videndeling – ATV proces- og produktionsteknik (in English Technology Networking – ATV Manufacturing Technology) was established in 1982 as a private, non-profit association, affiliated to ATV – the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.

The aim of Teknologisk Videndeling is:

• To facilitate communication on knowledge of industrial technology concerning processing, manufacturing and materials used
• To promote training, education and research concerning industrial technology
• To facilitate the frames of professional and scientific activities
• To extend networking and interaction among industry, universities and organizations

The association has four subjects of particular interest:

• Surface Engineering and Technology
• Polymer Technology
• Corrosion Engineering
• Innovation, Development and Organization of Production

Our name
As of January 1, 2024, we changed our name to Teknologisk Videndeling – ATV proces- og produktionsteknik and in English Technology Networking  – ATV Manufacturing Technology.
For the past years, we proudly operated under the ATV-SEMAPP banner. However the abbreviation was challenging to remember and provided little insight into our identity, mission, and values. With the name, Technology Networking (Teknologisk Videndeling), we aim to foster a clearer understanding of our organization and our objectives.
